Corruption affects us all. It threatens sustainable economic development, ethical values and justice; it destabilizes our company and endangers the rule of law. It undermines the institution and values of our company. But because company policies and company resources are largely beneficial to all, it is they who suffer the harmful effects of corruption most grievously who misuse its Deliverance.
Corruption and bad management practices eat into the companies wealth.
» Honesty – Organizations are the sum of their parts. Employees and managers who operate in good faith, with integrity and no conflicts of interest, will underpin the governance cornerstone of honesty and elicit trust from clients,students,parents and stakeholders.

The interested candidates will undergo initial screening for admission. At this stage our admission counsellor will evaluate the candidate based on the eligibility criteria as defined DG Shipping, Govt. of India. You will be asked questions about your educational qualification, age, etc. The counsellor will guide you about merchant navy and career options in merchant navy.
The candidates who qualify in the first round shall appear for a written test and an interview. The written test shall be of one and half hour duration and shall comprise of:
☑ Objective type multiple choice paper ( to assess the subject knowledge of the candidate)
☑ Subjective type paper (to assess the English language skills of the Candidate)
The purpose of the interview is to assess the adaptability of the candidate to marine life.
A merit list will be prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the written test and interview. The short-listed candidates will be called for counseling and the Admission Officer will guide you about the pre-sea training that you qualify for.
Short-listed candidates are required to undergo a medical examination as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000; as amended from a DG Shipping approved doctor.
The candidates who clear their medical examination will be issued an admission confirmation letter after submission of the first instalment of course fee.

» Original Certificates will have to be produced for verification at the time of admission / reporting.
Upon collection and scrutinizing the applications, the Selection Board of Native Marine Services SERVICES will issue call letters to the short listed candidates.
Candidates are short listed on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualification and to the wards of serving / retired seafarers, subject to meeting the Eligibility Criteria. Copies of the Guardian's CDC will be considered authentic proof for justifying the claim.
Short listed candidates are advised to report at the Academy. The candidates have to undergo Test (Written or Oral) or both. They will be tested on the basis of their attitude and aptitude towards seafaring profession, ability to communicate in English, general comprehension and seafaring background, if any.
Native Marine Services Services reserves the right to select or reject any candidate. The Selection Committee is not bound to call an applicant for interview or to assign any reason for rejection.
The candidates who qualify in the final test will have to undergo medical examination by a doctors appointed by D.G Shipping. Selection will be confirmed only if the candidate is found to be medically fit for sea service.
Once declared medically fit candidates must take admission by paying his course fees, failing which the seat will be offered to the next candidate as per the merit list.
The fees once paid will not be refunded or transferred to any other candidate's account.
Due to any reason if the training is extended beyond the specified time, the candidates will have to pay extra charges as per the decision of Native Marine Services Services.
Any suppression of truth, mis-representation of facts or submission of false Certificates will result in cancellation of admission, forfeiture of fees and shall be punishable as per the law. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
NO EXTRA MONEY IN FORM OF ANY DONATIONS / COMMISSIONS SHOULD BE PAID BY THE CANDIDATE TO ANY ONE OTHER THEN THE ACTUAL FEES.
THE ACADEMY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH KIND OF PAYMENT MADE BY ANY CANDIDATE.
THE CANDIDATE SHOULD ASK FOR VALID RECIPT FOR EVERY PAYMENT MADE & REPORT THE MANAGEMENT IF ANY EXTRA MONEY HAS BEEN ASKED BY ANY EMPLOYEE WITHIN OR OUTSIDE THE ACADEMY.
